“Every child is different and they are sometimes unpredictable. I treat every child as if they were my own and make decisions based on what is best for that specific child. Pediatric dentistry is an emotional experience — for the parent, for the child, and for me as the provider. Because it is emotional, it is also endlessly rewarding.
“My goal is for children to enjoy coming to our office so they value their oral health. My team and I do high-quality dentistry, do it safely, and we want to give both children and parents the best experience possible. I like to present options and I like parents to be involved in the decision-making process.
“To me, having a patient grow up in front of my eyes and make the transition from shy or anxious to confident is what it’s all about. Ultimately, my goal is to have both the child and the parent walk out with a smile. To me, that is success.” — Dr. Twiss

Outside the Office
Dr. Twiss grew up in Southern Oregon and his wife is from the East Bay. They have three uniquely different children who keep them humble and make them laugh every day. Dr. Twiss decided to leave a very successful practice in Vancouver, Washington, and relocate closer to family. He and his wife feel it’s important to allow their kids an opportunity to spend time with extended family.
When he is not working, you can find Dr. Twiss running around with his wife and kids, enjoying local college and professional sports, or eating his favorite foods. He is personally passionate about his family, profession, and faith. He loves to help others succeed in life, and especially enjoys mentoring young people to reach their potential, both in and out of the office.
An active member of the LDS church, Dr. Twiss is involved in various volunteer and community activities. He looks forward to learning more about opportunities to serve in the area. He has personally been so blessed by the generosity of others that he feels a great desire to give back.
